Alien with bone armor

Alien chick I came up with. I wanted to design it with the bones on the outside like an armor. In the future I might pick this one up again and add the body, but for now its done.

Scarecrow in Cornfield

A Hallowe'en inspired pumpkin head scarecrow in a cornfield. Note to anyone going into a cornfield to take reference photos, check to make sure you are allowed into the corn or you could end up like I did being stalked by a farmer thinking I am stealing his crop. Some lines done in illustrator, the rest all done in photoshop.

3 stage concept gun

Another concept weapon; this weapon is a three piece tear apart gun. Stage one is four rocket propelled arrows lined with razor blades. Once arrows are used, operator would drop off the front area of the gun, now it's at the stage two gun, a variable auto/single shot 9mm light machine gun with laser sights. After the second stage clip is empty, the weapon operator can detach front, leaving behind a semi-auto/single shot 9mm hand gun.

Dark Guardian Fan Pic

I read an article about Real Life Super Heroes (RLSH), people who dress in a costume and do things like homeless outreach programs, fight crime, and keep the peace. After reading, I did more research into the various heroes out there doing their thing; Most of it was kind of a joke, but one of these superheroes was actually putting himself in the line of fire to make a difference. He calls himself "Dark Guardian" and lives in New York. I watched this man (who isn't a giant by any means), stand up to drug dealers twice his size and make them back down. Too many people turn their heads to violence and crimes going on, if they cared as much as this man, the world would be a lot better off. In his honor, I did this picture of his silhouette on a dark guardian logo with a quote I found that I thought was fitting. I sent him the picture and he contacted me back in an email as well as placed it on his facebook page.

sk8 board

My friend's father is a legendary skateboarder in our area and across the country to people in the know. He's 50+ years of age and still gets out there on his board with the kids at local parks and national competitions.  My friend's father used to own the best indoor skatepark in the city, but had to close due to finances. In honor of his closed shop, I came up with this skateboard design for him to have printed up and bring to his competitions.

Jack in the Box

Another one of my nightmare type clowns. This one is a jack in the box. Lines done in illustrator, color done in photoshop.

Grunge Bathroom Background

After doing my "killer clown" painting, I was messing around with backgrounds for characters and I came up with this grunge bathroom scene; I haven't been inspired with a character for it yet.

Killer Clown

I enjoy drawing demons and other nightmare type creatures. Here is my version of a killer clown. I made the clown living in a sewer just like Stephen King's "It" , except my clown doesn't turn into a lame giant spider when confronted, he just turns more crazy. This started out as a drawing in my sketchbook from a few years back, I brought it into illustrator, did my lines there and then brought it into photoshop to add my colors.

Nail Cannon Apocalypse Gun

After watching a gunsmith use an old scuba tank for a cannon in the show "American Guns" it inspired me to do a apocalyptic gun made with an old scuba tank. Here I designed the "Nail Cannon", a shoulder hanging pipe bomb with directional force. The idea was to create a weapon made up of various found items that had deadly ability and versatility. The tank can be filled with pretty much anything from nails to rocks and would work like an old wad firing gun; the user would press in a fabric or whatever they acquired to act as the wad, then drop in their projectiles. The rear of the chamber has space for gas to build up, then a pull of the trigger ignites the gas, creating an explosion, launching the shrapnel.
